  • How Can I Order One of Your Walking Sticks?
Many of my walking sticks are custom orders. However, I do create some sticks that don't have a buyer. These I place in my shop. If you would like to be notified of when I get new products in my shop, you can sign up for my news letter. Thanks!

  • What kind of wood do you use?

  • Where do you live?
I live in Eastern Oregon, USA.
  • When and Why did you start carving?
I started carving just for the fun of it. Then I stumbled on the idea of making Rattlesnake walking sticks. I was encouraged by a successful carver and friend to pursue the idea. So I began marketing the canes and staffs. At first it was just a sidline to my usual job of being a carpenter. I started getting serious about carving around the year of 2011 after seeing demand pick up. As I began recieving more and more orders, I was able to carve full time.
  • Why do you carve snakes?
I carve snakes because they make a good conversation piece and they work well with walking sticks because they are long and can climb up the shaft. When you carry a walking stick with a snake on it, you won't be able to go very far without getting some attention.
