This hand-carved coffee scoop is made from a single piece of Birch wood with a hand-carved Red-tailed Hawk perched on the top of the handle. This project was carved using only knives and textured and colored with a wood burner and minimal additions of acrylic paint. The scoop is finished with food-grade walnut oil. The carving is 8 3/4 inches long, and 1.5 inches wide. The hawk is 3.5 inches tall.
